My son is now 21, he has been fighting these issues for over 4 years. It is progressively getting worse and are now saying mental illness but they don't know what. New doctor is saying it could be pandas? Is this found in young adults?

hello, I´m from Argentina (sorry about my english), I´ve got a son (17) with tourette and toc. I´ve recently seen a youtube video with the story of sammy with pandas ( Did you see it? I also want to know if pandas could be detected even if the infection was many years ago. His doctor is reading about that, but the days passed  and my son doesn´t  feel good. Do you know which is the indicated exam to detect pandas?
